"We had boxes of papers from my father's house that no one in the family knew how to begin with. Siriporn spent a half-day with us and by the end we had a clear set of folders and a typed list of what was in each one. That list alone has already saved us several phone calls."

"My wife and I attended the Family Records Workshop as we wanted to understand what kinds of papers we actually needed to hold onto, and which ones we could responsibly discard. Kanya explained everything in a calm, sensible way. We left with a printed guide that we still refer to."

"The Steady Archive Plan has made a real difference to how our family manages its paperwork throughout the year. The quarterly visits keep everything in order, and knowing that the templates are there when we need them is quietly reassuring. Nattawat is very reliable and always communicates clearly."

"What I appreciated most was that Oakvault was honest about what they would and wouldn't do. They sorted and listed, and when I asked questions about the actual content of certain papers, they said clearly that wasn't something they could advise on and pointed me in the right direction. That kind of straightforwardness is worth a lot."

"Three of us attended the workshop together — siblings trying to get on the same page about our parents' records. Having it presented in both English and Thai meant that all three of us understood equally well. The printed guide was a thoughtful touch. We came away feeling less overwhelmed."

"I rescheduled our initial visit twice due to family matters, and Oakvault accommodated both changes without comment or extra charge. That small thing told me a lot about how they operate. When we finally met, the visit itself was exactly as described — calm, thorough, and with no pressure at all."

In More Detail

How We Have Helped

Three examples, shared with families' permission, that illustrate how Oakvault's services have been used.

Case Study 01

An Inherited Home in Si Phum

Situation

A family in Chiang Mai found themselves with several boxes of unsorted papers after the passing of a parent. No one in the household knew what had been kept or why.

What We Did

One sorting visit over approximately three hours. Papers were sorted into nine labelled categories, and a written inventory of 47 items was produced.

Outcome

The family reported that having a clear list meant they could share information with relevant parties without needing to dig through boxes. A second visit was booked four months later.

Case Study 02

A Mixed-Nationality Household

Situation

A couple — one Thai, one British — wanted to attend the Family Records Workshop together to understand what types of family records are generally considered important to keep.

What We Did

A private workshop session delivered bilingually, lasting approximately three hours. Both attendees received the printed reference pack in their preferred language.

Outcome

The couple felt better equipped to manage their combined household records and subsequently enrolled in the Steady Archive Plan to maintain order over the following year.

Case Study 03

Year-Round Support for an Elderly Household

Situation

An elderly resident of Chiang Mai, living alone, wanted help keeping her household records consistently organised throughout the year without relying on family members.

What We Did

A Steady Archive Plan, with quarterly visits conducted at the client's home. Templates were provided for common record types. Each visit produced an updated written summary.

Outcome

Now in the second year of the plan. The client's family members, who live abroad, have noted that they feel more assured knowing records are being kept in order by a dedicated team.
